I worked in TV advertising for most of my career but I always wanted to have a family and I knew that if/when that happened, I wanted to be in a financial position where I could decide if I returned to work or not.
I knew property was the way to hopefully replace my monthly income and give me the option to decide – that was a powerful and exciting realisation!
I bought my first property in 2009 and built a property portfolio over the next 10 years that has more than replaced my monthly income and now means that I can work from home during school hours and drop my son off and pick him up – I can be a present mum and that means the world to me.
I now own 8 properties, a mix of single buy to let’s, a multi-let and a multi -let which is rented by a Supported Living Provider.
